Following the landmark announcement of Druid Sport’s appointment as the exclusive commercial representative of the Argentine Football Association (AFA) in China, a senior Druid Sport delegation travelled to Beijing to engage with our local team and meet key stakeholders.

The delegation — Diarmuid Crowley (CEO), Tim Crowley, and Luís Duarte — joined our China team led by Barbara Zhang with colleagues Yin Hao, Yang Wang and Boyuan Xing from our Druid Sport China office for a full agenda of strategic meetings.

Highlights included:

• Strategic discussions with the Beijing Sports Bureau, where the Druid Sport Team was received by the Director-General.
• A reception hosted by the Argentine Ambassador to China, His Excellency Mr. Marcelo Gabriel Suárez Salvia, who expressed strong support for Druid Sport’s cooperation with AFA
• A series of commercial meetings with leading Chinese companies and media stakeholders.

The visit established a strong foundation for the next phase of work, focused on building meaningful partnerships and expanding AFA’s footprint in China.
